Industrial gas compressor completely overhauled

Our Rotating Equipment Service successfully repaired an ethylene industrial gas compressor at the Leuna Chemical Park. Five service technicians completely overhauled and modernized the piston compressor as part of an overhaul.

The piston compressor was completely dismantled, cleaned and measured. Our mobile service processed many usable components directly on site. Some of the components, such as several stepped cylinders, were mechanically processed in our repair factory in Lingen and returned on time for assembly and acceptance in Leuna.

Since it was an older piston compressor from the former manufacturer "Halberstadt", the project also included conversion work as part of re-engineering. As a result, Bücker + Essing brought the compressor up to date with the latest technology. This ensures continued reliable production for the next few years.
